I was delighted to be contacted by Sven from Liechtenstein who is the current owner of the Rolls Royce. Sven has a web page on the history which you can see here . I sent Sven the photo album and now the album is reunited with the Rolls Royce again.

The magnificent Rolls Royce 20/25 as it is today
A small pocket sized complete photo album from the 1930/40s. It's in beautiful condition. The 1935 Rolls Royce 20/25 is taking center stage and a little Googling I was happy to see the Roller is still around. Seems like it's had a bit of a life, spent most of it's life in California and then moved to Holland and then was sold on and the location unknown.
The original owner was Sir Emmanuel Hoyle of Huddersfield and from Wikipedia "Hoyle (23 September 1866 – 9 May 1939) was born at Longwood, near Huddersfield, the son of Joseph Hoyle, who had established Joseph Hoyle and Sons, woollen cloth manufacturers, in 1865. He was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in recognition of his wartime services in home defence transport. In 1922 he was created a baronet, of Longwood in the West Riding of the County of York."

The Electric brae is more than a simple optical illusion, as I have discovered in my research of the ley line system that there are no less than FOUR volcanic basalt plugs in a line with this road, each one being slightly magnetic, but certainly not nearly enough to cause cars to move up hill - this is an obvious optical illusion, but could it be caused by the energy having an effect on the brain?
