Part two from the
Best Christmas Yet 1934.
"For some years the two daughters of Mr. D. Milner, of High Street, March, have held positions in France with well known French families. After the collapse of that country the eldest daughter, Miss M. Milner, managed to get away and arrived at March some time ago. For seven weeks nothing had been heard from her sister Miss D. Milner, for whom much anxiety was felt by her relatives. On Tuesday, however, news was received by air mail via New York, that Miss Milner was safe just outside the occupied zone in France"
